VIOLET VANISHING

Pure water is perfectly clear. Complications arise when we sink so deep that there are no reflections on the seafloor to speak of.  Here, the water is dark blue and not perfectly clear at all. Dark blue is typical and dark blue is nowhere. Up on the surface however, sunlight tells a very different story. A story of a Red wavelength appointed from a star we call the Sun. Red sacrifices itself for the last light— the most vanishing wavelength of all... Violet.
